AUDITION.......AUDITION......AUDITION

NEESA PRODUCTION LTD HAS INVITED YOU GUYS FOR AN AUDTION

British secret files on Nigeria’s first bloody coup, path to Biafra

The 31-year-old Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna was the brain behind the Revolution. He studied zoology for 4 years at Ibadan University and graduated with a B.Sc before being commissioned into the army in 1961.

At the age of 20, he brought glory to the nation when at the 1954 Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, he won Nigeria’s first ever gold medal at any international games and set a new record in high jump. He refused to wear the athletes’ spiked boots or any shoe at all for the run-up competitions.

At Vancouver, in front of the international cameras, he was persuaded to wear the boots. As a compromise, he wore a boot only on one leg and jumped the highest setting a new world record in high jump and in bizarre outfitting.

Ifeajuna knew he was not born to be ordinary and so was addicted to breaking rules and setting new records. As a charismatic orator and Director of Information at University College Ibadan Students Union, he led the protest against the Queen’s visit to the University in 1956.

Ibadan City was born by dissident soldiers headed by Lagelu among seven hills as a refuge for immigrants fleeing wars in 1829. By 1960, Ibadan had become the most cosmopolitan city in Nigeria.

Being an embodiment of the lure of consistent non-conformism, Ibadan like New York of that time, held an extraordinary collection of flame-headed intellectuals avid for novelty and whose creativity and distinguished activisms enriched the city and the country. There was nowhere in Africa that matched Ibadan’s assemblage of fire then.

There was SG Ikoku who challenged and defeated his own famous father Alvan Ikoku at the Eastern Region Assembly elections of 1956 and then radicalised his new adopted father Chief Obafemi Awolowo into socialism.

There was Anthony Enahoro, Chris Okigbo, John Pepper Clark, Chinua Achebe, Tayo Akpata, Benedict Obumselu, Chike Obi, Wole Soyinka, Sam Agbam, Akin Mabogunje, Bola Ige, Emeka Anyaoku, Elechi Amadi. Ifeajuna was a friend to most of them. He wrote in his manuscript:

“It was at Ibadan also I learnt my third lesson. One morning, workmen arrived in the campus with what looked like burglar grills. In a matter of days, they had sealed off each hall or residence from the outside and turned all into cages. Altogether, they gave the place the look of a zoo, so that students saw themselves as animals on show…Then the students took a decision – the cages would have to come down faster than they had been put up.

But how to do it? Everybody knew what was wanted but they had not or did not know the means and the manner of effecting the change desired and demanded by all.

Each waited for the other to act or simply waited in the hope that something would happen by way of providential intervention.
“At the appointed hour, I and two others met in a hidden rendezvous. We worked out the detailed plans and assembled hammers for the job.

The events which took place a week or so later went according to plan. We called a Union meeting. There were speeches, moving speeches.

Then one of my friends shouted: ‘Down with the cages.’ He led the way to the hammer dump. Before long the cages were down.

At the end of it all a student friend reflecting on the incident made interesting comment that a collection of professors would still be a crowd: a group must have a leader or remain in chaos.

The University College was closed for a term but we made our point. And the lesson that emerged for me from this incident was the need for careful planning before [undergoing] any operation; the chance of success can be said to be proportion to the work put into the planning.”

Ifeajuna informed Okigbo the discussed Revolution was in the works. According to Wole Soyinka, Okigbo informed Achebe and informed him also without going into details. Soyinka was then on trial for allegedly using a gun to persuade the state broadcaster that instead of Akintola’s tape announcing himself as the election winner, his own tape asking Akintola to pack and go was of better value to the people.

He was later freed by Justice Kayode Eso on 12 December 1965.

Ifeajuna was pleased to hear about Okigbo’s friend subversive broadcast. He regarded it as theatre; they were plotting the real stunt.

On the day of this stunt, more than anywhere else in the country, there was great euphoria of vindication in Ibadan as the people leapt around on the streets like compressed chests freed at last from the tyranny of pushdown bras. Ibadan claimed Ifeajuna as one of its very own and Okigbo distilled the joys of that day into his poem Hurray for the Path of Thunder. When Nzeogwu’s voice fountained out like a genie of the lamp amongst some Ibadan intellectuals clustered around their radio at Risikatu’s restaurant, Okigbo was reported to have called for patience, patience, patience. He confidently proclaimed that there was still another voice that would soon follow suit. He was referring to his friend and chief engineer of the Revolution, Major Emmanuel Arinze Ifeajuna born on 3rd March 1934, married to Rose on 16th June 1959 at Lagos Registry in Ikoyi and commissioned into the army on 6th December 1960.

On the night of the coup, after Ifeajuna concluded his address to his fellow mutineers in his sitting room, he led the largest unit comprising 22 soldiers. Reaching Onikan roundabout, he divided them into three groups. One officer, 2/Lt. G. Ezedigbo and 8 NCOs would go to arrest the finance minister, Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh who was then the most corrupt politician in the history of Nigeria. Just like the Downing Street model in London, the Prime Minister and Finance Minister lived side-by-side. But they had become respectively like church and state that did not mix.

Another unit comprising 5 NCOs commanded by second warrant officer Onyeacha was left behind to watch over their vehicles and ensure that no other vehicle entered or exited the Onikan roundabout during the course of the operation. Ifeajuna himself commanded the remaining soldiers whose task was to arrest the Prime Minister, Sir Tafawa Balewa Abubakar, the novelist and teacher turned Prime Minister.

Abubakar was widely known to hardly surround himself with guards at home or even when commuting.

He always cautioned his household against striving for the inessential and ostentatious materialism which expressed itself in need for elaborate security measures. Only Abubakar could have a disabled cripple called Inspector Kaftan Topolomiyo from Nangasu in Chad as his head of security. It was only in 1964 that he consented to a supplement ADC, Sgt Maxwell Orukpabo fondly called “the Igbo” in the household.

In February 1963 during a police council meeting with the four regional premiers, the newly restored Western Premier, Akintola proposed a budget for armoured cars for themselves given the security situation in the country. Abubakar softly reprimanded him: “Mr Premier, if I ever thought I would need an armoured car to go anywhere in Nigeria, I would resign.”

In the pornography of corruption called the Nigerian government, Abubakar was a monk. And so Ifeajuna knew his task would be very easy. The soldiers he took to abduct him were service soldiers drawn from Signal Squadron, Lagos Garrison Organisation and Camp. None were combat soldiers.

Around thirty minutes later, without a single shot fired, the cool and soft-spoken Prime Minister emerged from the front gate of his residence untied, gently rattling his prayer beads and was dressed in a white flowing jalabiya and a pair of sandals.

A lifetime of emotional discipline had rendered his signature face docile and unconquerable by fear. The dead silence of the night lent a hallowed majesty to his steps as he advanced towards his Golgotha. Behind him was Ifeajuna and eight other non-combat soldiers with guns drawn. By the time the entourage reached the parked vehicles, Okotie-Eboh his NCNC Finance Minister had been arrested with his hands tied.

Abubakar was assisted into the backseat of Ifeajuna’s luxurious red Mercedes Benz while Okotie Eboh was tossed like a sack of potatoes into the back of the 3 tonner. The convoy drove to report to Federal Guard’s Officer’s Mess.

AHMED MUSA MAKES WINNING DEBUT FOR LEICESTER CITY

The Super Eagles forward was impressive in his first game for the Foxes as they came-back from behind to win at Oxford United on Tuesday
Nigeria striker Ahmed Musa made an impressive debut in Leicester City 2-1 victory over Oxford United in a pre-season match on Tuesday.

Musa came on in the 61st minute making his first appearance for the Premier League champions alongside fellow new signings Luis Hernandez and Ron-Robert Zieler in the comeback win.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Maguire before Gray leveled in the 28th minute.

FG’s exclusive right to JAMB a mistake – ASUU

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has said that granting Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) the exclusive right to admit students into tertiary institutions is a mistake.

The ASUU president, Biodun Ogunyemi in Abuja on Monday, July 18, said the ban on Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation examination was uncalled for.
Ogunyemi said the mistake made by the Nigerian government by granting JAMB the right to admit students into universities will hunt Nigeria sooner or later.

He said the union believe that the challenges faced by the Post-UTME is not one that cannot be tackled.
Listing the challenges, Ogunyemi said various recommendations should be adopted by the federal government to ensure the re-implementation of Post-UTME into the education system.

To curtail exploitation of parents and candidates, government can improve funding to universities and other tertiary institutions.

“Total implementation of the 2009 ASUU-FGN agreement especially the funding for the revitalization and other service–related conditions like payment of staff entitlements, registration of Nigerian Universities Pension Management Committee,” he said.

The union also recommended a review of the validity period of UTME or its registrations fees from one to three years to reduce exploitation by JAMB and ensure fairness to candidates.

“ASUU shall never accept policies which violates university autonomy. This is a call to all well-meaning Nigerians to intervene to avert a looming crisis in the Nigerian university system.

Recently, the federal government through the minister of education Adamu Adamu cancelled the Post-UTME usually conducted by tertiary institutions for students who have score 180 and above in JAMB.

Also, just yesterday, Adamu also confirmed the cancellation of National Examination Council common entrance examination usually written by pupils seeking admission into federal government colleges in Nigeria.

JAMB forwards provisional admission list to institutions

THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has forwarded provisional admission list for 2016/17 admission year to tertiary institutions.

JAMB Registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, in a statement in Abuja, yesterday, explained that the latest list sent to all the tertiary institutions contains names of candidates who qualified for screening based on the individual institutions’ capacity.
“It’s not in any way an admission list,” he warned.

He, however, advised institutions to source from the omnibus printout earlier sent to them by the board, in the event that the list is not sufficient for the need of the institution. The candid intention of the board is to ensure that available spaces are adequately utilised,” he said.

Prof Ojerinde, thus, reminded the public and all tertiary institutions that admission would only be approved by the board after appropriate screening of the candidates by the institutions.

Buhari Orders IGP To Re-Open Bola Ige And Dokubo’s Murder Cases

ABUJA — President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, directed the Acting Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to reopen investigation into the unresolved murder of former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige, and ex-Deputy National Chairman, South-South, of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Aminosari Dokubo, and fish out the perpetrators.

The killing of the two personalities caused national outrage, with Nigerians calling on the government of former President Olusegun Obasanjo to fish out the killers who have still not been found.
Late Bola Ige
Recall that Chief Bola Ige was shot dead in his bedroom in Bodija, Ibadan, home at about 9pm on December 23, 2001, after he arrived Ibadan from Lagos at about 8.30pm.

His security details were said to have sought permission from the former Attorney General to go and eat before the incident occurred.
The gunmen, who were said to have been waiting in the vicinity, then stormed the house and tied up family members.

One of the gunmen reportedly pointed a gun at a family member and asked him to lead them upstairs to Chief Bola Ige’s room. They allegedly moved the wife and his son to an adjourning room, locked them up before shooting their target in the chest.
Vanguard gathered from sources that towards unearthing the perpetrators of these unresolved murders, the Acting Inspector General of Police has instituted a high powered investigation team, headed by an Assistant Inspector General of Police, to crack the case.

Following the death of the late Bola Ige, several unsubstantiated allegations were made against several politicians and interest groups, with some even saying the ‘Cicero’, as he was fondly called, was killed to halt the rise in his political profile, while others said it had to do with his impending probe of the corruption in the power sector of the nation’s economy.

Dokubo’s assassination
On the part of Chief Aminosari Dokubo, the late PDP Deputy National Chairman was said to be returning to his base from Abuja after a meeting when he was waylaid by suspected assassins on entering Delta State. He was killed near Asaba on October 22, 2004.
Dokubo’s assassination at the time was alleged to have been caused by certain disagreements with the powers that be in his political party, prior to the general elections.

A source told Vanguard that the fact that the killers and their sponsors were still prowling the streets without arrest and prosecution for crimes against humanity, was a dangerous trend which, if not addressed, might lead to killing of more political leaders either now or in the future.

It’s a new day— Bola Ige’s son
Reacting to the development, Architect Muyiwa Ige, son of late Chief Bola Ige, said last night that it would be glorious, if the family could get justice 16 years after.

Muyiwa, who could not hide his happiness, said President Buhari did not disappoint him, saying the matter was now in the right direction.
He said: “I knew right from the advent of the administration of President Buhari that the matter would be resurrected. The President is in the right direction. To God be the glory. It’s a new day; we are happy, we will get justice after 16 years.

“We are happy that all those who murdered our father, including the star witness, will be brought to justice. It’s good news.”

Gunmen abduct Lagos monarch, baby, two others

Some gunmen have abducted the traditional ruler of Iba community, Lagos State, Oba Goriola Oseni – the Oniba of Iba land.

Also abducted were a woman, her three-month-old baby, and a businessman.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the gunmen, who were suspected to be militants, stormed the community in two speedboats on Saturday around 10.30pm.
They were said to have shot dead one of the palace guards and a motorcycle rider.

The monarch’s wife, Kuburat, who sustained gunshot injuries, was reportedly rushed to a hospital for treatment.

A resident, Ifayemi Yomi, said the gunmen announced their presence with sporadic gunshots which made everyone to scamper to safety.

He said, “The gunmen came in at about 10pm, shooting indiscriminately. They had earlier gone to the Agbede area of Ikorodu, and tried to abduct some oil dealers; but they failed. They then made their way to Iba through the waterways.

“They went to the palace and dragged the traditional ruler out. The residents tried to prevent their entry into the palace and one of them, who worked with the Neighbourhood Watch, was shot dead. A motorcycle rider was also killed.”

Another resident, identified only as Muyiwa, said people in the area had started leaving in droves.
He said, “My wife and I initially thought vigilantes were at work, but with the persistence of the shooting, we sensed the community was under attack.

“The gunshots woke up my two children. For one hour, I was confused. My wife, the children and I held on to one another. It was this morning (Sunday) that I heard that the king was abducted by militants. They killed his guard and shot his wife in the leg.”
A source explained that the community had become volatile due to the operations of the militants, calling on the Lagos State Government and security agencies to rise up to the challenge.

He said, “It seems the militants are becoming too powerful for the government. If measures are not taken to check their excesses, they will take over all the riverine areas in Lagos and Ogun states.
“Last week, a landlord was abducted in an estate around here. He has not been released till now because his family has not been able to raise the ransom the kidnappers demanded.

“For now, I am leaving my house until the government is able to bring the situation under control.”
Another source in the palace said policemen had been deployed in the creeks around the area.
The elder brother of the abducted monarch and the Oloto of Otto, Oba Josiah Aina, who spoke with
PUNCH Metro on the phone, said the family had not been contacted for any ransom.

He said, “We have not been contacted for ransom. The monarch’s wife is receiving treatment in a Lagos hospital.”

NIGRIA ON A BRIFF HISTORY

#History
The Making of #Nigeria 1914 - 2014::
If a journey is started on the wrong heading, no magic will ever get the driver to his/her destination. If this statement is true, the driver must make corrections before it is too late.

The amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914 was reviewed in 2014 an ominous year for Nigeria, that coincided with GEJ tenure. The review came up in a national conference headed by a first class jurist and by any standard, it was a gathering of people with grey matter. Findings were compiled and well documented. We opined that it is a document that should not be thrown away. To do so or attempt to do that, would tantamount  to rebuilding a ship (Nigeria) without a dashboard or control panel (compass...). It would be a ship fantastically unserviceable, cannibalized, unusable....that will most likely ride perpetually on stormy waters. Now imagine a ship under this condition.
Last Line: "DO NOT WEAR YOUR SHOE BEFORE THE SOCKS." And let Nigerians not be misled which one to wear first.

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the appointment of Paul Le Guen as the new Nigeria Super Eagles coach after he was recommended by the technical committee on Monday evening.

The 52-year-old succeeds Sunday Oliseh, who left the post after his failed expedition at the 2016 African Nations Championship failing to get past the preliminary round.

In the same vein, Nduka Ugbade has been restored to the Nigeria U17 team as assistant to coach Manu Garba.

OPINION: Kwara 2019: Let's draft Lai Mohammed! By Abdulrazaq Magaji

It is still strange that the idea of drafting people to vie for public offices is alien to Nigeria's political space. The norm has been for politicians with deep-pockets to hijack the space and foist themselves on the people which normally claim was at the instance of the people! The situation has always thrown up crooked people who employ their ill-gotten wealth to hijack the political space which we all know should be the prerogative of decent people. The 2015 election has changed all that.

The outcome of last year's election has shown that, when the chips are down, Nigerians can identify and vote for decent people. Building on the gains of 2015 therefore, there is the need to begin to draft decent and honest people who otherwise would have been sidelined by the asphyxiating money politics, to vie for public office! Politics should no longer be considered a dirty game that should be left to dirty people. It is this misconception that pushed the country to its present sorry state.

Any moment from now and, barring any hitches, an online campaign will be activated for the purpose of encouraging the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to consider joining the 2019 governorship race in Kwara state! Central to the envisaged hitches is the need to secure the consent of the subject of the draft considering the centrality of his role in the Buhari/Osinbajo administration. As a key change agent in the administration, the information minister already has his hands full as it were.

Great! Yet, it is begging the issue to say Alhaji Lai Mohammed has a key role to play in salvaging Kwara state. In this regard, this is a passionate appeal to Nigerians of goodwill to join the draft-Lai Mohammed campaign because Kwara is at a crossroads, an avoidable situation caused by years of sustained plunder by a pilfering cabal. Honestly, the years of puppetry that turned the people into a vulnerable, unquestioning and submissive lot and which is also responsible for turning the state into the butt of derisive jokes must stop!

What the state needs at the expiration of the current caretaker government in the state is a foresighted government, not another surrogate or caretaker government that holds power in trust for plunderers! The State of Harmony can no longer accommodate discredited leaders who cannot appreciate the demarcation between state funds and personal wealth! It will be another mistake if, in 2019, the people of Kwara state put their destiny in the hands of another surrogate and his principal who feed fat at the expense of the people!

With educated, intelligent, god-fearing and incorruptible people, many people out there fit the bill. Truth is, Alhaji Lai Muhammed is in a class of his own. By every standard, President Muhammadu Buhari's choice for minister of information is like his principal: Lai Mohammed is nobody's and everybody's man! He is a politician of the finest order who has made a name for himself since he came to national political limelight. What is more, Alhaji Lai Mohammed is too serious-minded to engage in the indulgences that push people to the desperate point of stealing public funds! Put Lai Mohammed in charge of state funds and the people of Kwara state can go to sleep assured that their money is secured!

Born in 1951, Alhaji Lai Abdulra'uf Mohammed, lawyer, businessman, publicist and politician of the finest order cut his political teeth in the early 1990's as a leader of the defunct Social Democratic Party, SDP. Those who claim some level of acquaintance with him say honesty comes naturally to the information minister. His thoroughness, his disdain for money politics, his sense of justice, his belief in due process and his incorruptibility came to the fore when he successfully managed the press and media affairs of the ruling All Progressives' Congress, APC.

As the main publicist for the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed put the lie to the claim that publicity is impossible without a small dose of dishonesty. And, like his principal, he jealously guides his personal integrity by which he is guided in whatever he sets his mind to. It is indeed an irony of fate that with abundance of straight-thinking sons of the soil in the mould of Lai Mohammed, Kwara state remains in the woods mainly because its destiny was intractably tied to that of a larcenous, self-serving few.

The pilfering cabal in Kwara state has become even more daring, more desperate and more devious since 1999. From the late Alhaji Muhammad Lawal, a retired naval chief, to scandal-prone senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and incumbent Maigida Abdulfatai Ahmed, the state has been unlucky with its elected governors. Of recent, the picture of Kwara state as a besieged territory was brought into proper perspective by stomach-churning EFCC account of treasury looting during the eight years Dr. Bukola Saraki held sway. This is a matter for another day, anyway!
For now, how to snatch the State of Harmony from the jaws of death should be paramount! Equally important is for the next government, like the corrective Buhari/Osinbajo administration, to erect formidable structures as a bulwark against a clique, however devious they are and whatever the depth of their pocket, from pocketing the state!
A situation where one man determines the fate and destiny of a people for selfish and parochial purposes, especially in a state overflowing with intelligent, far-sighted and, more importantly god-fearing people, is not healthy. The situation has forced Kwara state to abdicate its unique role of a veritable bridge!

Honestly, the sad experience in Kwara state, especially over the past dozen and half decades, has shown that nothing good comes from any political arrangement that allows one man to decide who gets what. The people of Kwara state have God to thank for the gift of the Buhari/Osinbajo-led APC government! Today, those who hithero held Kwara state by the jugular appear to be losing grip and the people can now breathe freely. For instance, the act of ass-licking, one of the demeaning practices that forced self-respecting individuals to keep their distances from aspiring to serve is gradually yielding ground.

One sign of this, which as well an indication that the over-pampered clique has lost grip, is the recent appointments to fill Kwara state slots into federal agencies. In the recent past, chances are the space would have been filled with clowns who fall upon themselves to lick the asses of the caballing plunderers of the state. For the dream of a brave, new Kwara devoid of the manipulative tendencies of a thieving cabal to come true, deliberate and concerted effort should be made to draft the independent-minded and conscientious foresighted Lai Mohammed into the race for Government House, Ilorin, in 2019.

Nothing should be left to chance in the drive to deliver Kwara state from the vice grip of leaders who improve themselves at the expense of the state instead of being the ones to improve the state!

South Sudan at war with herself

South Sudan has been at war with herself for the past few weeks now, but as anticipated the media and the bourgeois international political analysts, organizations and some deluded Afrikans are not interested in the tragedy of the youngest Afrikan country as much as they are interested in the tense political situation in Turkey, France and others in the Middle East. Since the clashes erupted in the beginning of this month, over 272 brothers and sisters of ours have lost their lives. And at least a total number of 36,000 families of ours have been displaced by the raging violence and fighting due to the insincerity and stupidity of President Salva Kiir and the Vice President, Riek Machar!!!

It will be recalled that since the past few years the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, UNMISS has been in the five-year-old nation, nothing much has changed for our people over there. It has been one killing to the other. No single workable resolution has been reached so far because at several points in time the genuineness of the UNMISS has been questioned by the opposing forces in that country. Whilst the United Nations Missions are always quick to act in other political violent countries properly, they are always less receptive in doing the same in most Afrikan countries, not until the killings have become embarrassing!!!

The deteriorating, failed Afrikan Union (AU) must therefore raise up to the occasion by ensuring that the two misrulers in that country steps-down for peace to reign. The masses of our people must not lose their precious lives because of the ambition of some backward, deluded, bourgeois politicians. Our people cannot and must not be the sacrificial lambs for these delusionals!!!

I Want At Least Three Rounds of Sex, Starved Housewife Cries Out In Lagos

AMINU Mohammed Simpa has the dexterity of a capable man but he is not strong enough to satisfy his wife, Afusat in bed. His inability has affected the peace once enjoyed in their Ajibose Street, Agege, Lagos home.

Saturday Sun gathered that for over 13 years, the 51-year-old indigene of Obangade, Kogi State, has not gone more than one round of sex with his wife, Afusat, a constant cause of quarrel in the middle of the night. Sex is now a luxury for them. Anytime they are going to have it, they have to plan it. The wife would have informed the husband beforehand so that he would not stress himself during the day. At the end of all preparations, Simpa will still not go more than one round.

This has brought crisis into what once seems to be a happy union. Afusat, 44, complains of not getting satisfaction every time they make love. As a woman, she told Saturday Sun, she expects at least three rounds of sex from her husband.

“I expect my husband to be able to take me to orgasm whenever I wish to make love to him. But no, that is not the case; instead he would stop at one round breathing as if he just climbed a mountain. It is unacceptable. But I understand his predicament,” Afusat stated.

Trouble started for the father of four when he had accident while on duty at Glaxosmithkline, Ilupeju Lagos State. According to him, he was injured above his pelvis and was operated upon. The operation from the injury he claimed affected his performance as a man.

How I became partially impotent
Narrating his ordeal, Simpa, recalled how he went to work in May 2003 on morning shift as a security officer with his former employer. “That day, I was on morning shift, to close work around 2pm. My supervisor, Mr. Wilson Oyedele, who was on afternoon shift that day delayed me and asked me to work with the people on afternoon shift because there were few people working on afternoon shift”, he stated.

“I was told to work from 2pm and close by 5pm,” he continued, adding “that day loading started around 5pm and the gate to the warehouse was faulty to the extent that we used plank to suspend it when we open and close it. I was in a hurry to go home because I did not inform my family that I would be coming back late from work. The boy offloading was too slow for my liking so I went to assist him, in the process I was hit by the bad gate.”

His frustration
Simpa is in pain. He is not only suffering from his inability to satisfy his wife but also from how a company he worked for, for 15 years treated him after he sustained the injury. He was taken care of by the company during his stay in the hospital but was laid off some months later because he asked for compensation.

“In a place of work when an employee gets injured, they compensate them , but they did not do that, I wrote a letter to management while I was working there but my supervisor said that I am still working with them and I want them to compensate me. He told them to put my name in the retrenchment list in 2005.
“When I went back to work on the 20th of June, after four months they released the retrenchment list and told me that my service was no longer needed, I went to meet them and they said that they wanted to reduce the number of staff.”

Simpa said effort to get the hospital remove the iron attached to his body has been futile since the hospital has not had any communication from Glaxosmithkline to commence treatment on him. Therefore, he resorted to taking painkillers and self-medication to survive while waiting for the company.

“I have been to hospital but they refused to treat me. Even the human resource officer that no longer works there told me that if I am not given a letter, I would not be treated. I even went to meet the doctor that operated on me at LUTH, but he told me to pay N5,000 before he would attend to me or recommend drugs that I would take. What I have been doing since then is to engage in one job or another then use the money to buy Ampiclox , Vitamin C, Panadol and pain relieving drugs to relieve the pains.”

His wife’s lamentation
If Afusat could turn back the hands of time, she would definitely want those days that her husband was satisfying her sexual needs. Since that is no longer possible, all she could do now is to complain and bear it as her cross. Her words “I take solace in the fact that I already had four children before the incident. If not so, I would not have taken it easy with him. How can a man not have strength to do more than one round. It is not good. If he finishes one round he would be looking for sleep to regain strength.
“Several times, I have complained, even got angry with him despite knowing what happened to him. Before the accident, he was agile and I was always praying that no woman should have sex with him because he knows how to satisfy a woman.”

According to her, she has tried all she could to improve her husband’s condition. She has introduced him to local herb popularly called ‘Afato’.
“As a man of peace, he would console me and plead with me that things will improve. I have tried to help him improve it. Sometimes I would buy him drinks or tell him not to work much, yet it would always resolve to the same thing,” she stated.

When Saturday Sun visited Glaxosmithkline to verify Simpa’s claims, this reporter was directed to the company’s public relations agent, one Mrs Omolara Shittu of Brooks and Blake. The agent asked the reporter to send an email to her. The first mail was sent to her on 17th of June and the second one on July 2nd, but as at press time, no response has come from her.

Truth be told by Robert Mugabe

Truth Be Told!!!

“Capitalism did not only plunder our land and other natural resources, thus impoverishing our peasants and making vast communities landless, it also turned a substantial percentage of the population into a poor wage-worker class...The difference between socialism and capitalism is therefore the difference between quality and inequality, between equity and inequity, between justice and injustice.” -Robert Mugabe!!!

Does Smoking Weed Affect Sperm? Study finds cannabis use before and during pregnancy can affect your baby.

Smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol are among the biggest no-no’s during pregnancy. Science has evolved enough over the years to let us know that a baby’s health can be severely affected by tobacco and alcohol use. Recent studies in Australia aim to determine whether or not cannabis use proves to be an equal threat.

In fact, a study from the University of Western Australia suggests smoking cannabis can damage the sperm’s DNA, possibly increasing the risk of birth defects and childhood cancer.
The damage to unborn children with damage to DNA is a process called chromothripsis – or ‘chromosomal shattering’.

Professor Stuart Reese of the University of Western Australia’s School of Psychiatry and Neuroscience says the process can slow down cell growth and make it difficult for cells to divide.

“This can disrupt fetal growth and the development of organs and limbs,” he says. “Sperm is tomorrow’s Australia so we need to get the message out there.”
Men should be equally aware when planning to start a strong and healthy family. The study is based off of a less controlled Hawaiian study from 2007, however, it should be noted that smoking anything foreign while pregnant is not a good idea.

Cannabis use before and during pregnancy has also been linked to preterm birth, with a strong possibility of causing birth defects meaning  the father should be equally aware of their habits during a mother’s pregnancy.

The study of 5,600 women at the University of Adelaide linked women who smoke pot at the 20th week of pregnancy to an astonishing five fold increase in preterm births. Following women from
Australia , New Zealand, Ireland, and the UK , the study found women who smoke pot at all during pregnancy are twice as likely to have a preterm birth.

“We’re confident that marijuana shouldn’t be used in pregnancy and it’s important that the message gets out there,” says Professor Claire Roberts of the University’s Robinson Research Institute. “This new study suggests that, overall, more than six percent of preterm births could have been prevented if women didn’t use marijuana.”

Although the research links marijuana to pre-term births, it does not appear to increase the risk of miscarriage or other abnormalities.

Turkish Coup Attempt Crumbles; Erdogan Returns After Crowds Answer Call To Streets

In an event not seen in since 1997, military factions in Turkey tried to seize control of the country on Friday night, setting off a scramble for power and plunging a crucial NATO member and American ally into chaos in what is already one of the world’s most unstable regions. However, by Saturday morning President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose whereabouts were unclear and was rumored to have been on vacation when the coup attempt began, flew to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, signalling that the coup had failed.
“A minority within the armed forces has unfortunately been unable to stomach Turkey’s unity,” Erdogan said at the airport, after the private NTV network showed him greeting supporters.

Blaming political enemies, Mr. Erdogan said “what is being perpetrated is a rebellion and a treason. They will pay a heavy price for their treason to Turkey.”
In essence, thanks to the very poorly planned coup - which some have suggested had been orchestrated by Erdogan himself - has given the Erdogan regime legitimacy to accelerate the recent trend of converting Turkey from a parliamentary into a presidential regime, thus granting himself even more power as a result.

As the NYT adds, there were strong indications that coup leaders, at a minimum, did not have a tight grip on many parts of the country. One could go further and say that the military never really had much control anywhere. Supporters of Erdogan took to the streets of Istanbul early on in the coup hours to oppose the coup plotters, and there were scattered reports some of its leaders had been arrested.
Martial law was declared in the country, although few if any casualties were confirmed, despite constant media reports of clashes between the army and the protesters.

President Erdogan, an Islamist who has dominated politics for more than a decade and sought to exert greater control over the armed forces, was forced to use his iPhone’s FaceTime app from an undisclosed location to broadcast messages urging the public to resist the coup attempt.

In one of the night's more comic moments, before returning to Istanbul Erdogan appeared in a video call to the studio of the Turkish sister channel of CNN, where an announcer held up a mobile phone to the camera to show him. He called on Turks to take to the streets to defend his government and said the coup plotters would pay a heavy price.

“There is no power higher than the power of the people,” he said in a night of wild confusion and contradictory accounts of who was in control. “Let them do what they will at public squares and airports.”
After Erdogan appeal for people to take to the streets, many of his followers obeyed his orders and mosque loudspeakers exhorted his supporters to go out and protest the coup attempt. The state-run Anadolu News Agency said 17 police officers had been killed in a military helicopter attack by coup plotters on a police special forces headquarters outside Ankara, although that has not been confirmed. There were also reports that fighter jets had shot down a military helicopter used by coup plotters. CNN Turk reported that 12 civilians were killed in an explosion at the Parliament building.

During this time, foreign support poured in from both neighbors such as Greece and Russia, all the way to the US. The United States Embassy said in a statement that “shots have been heard in Ankara” and urged Americans to take shelter. Social media outlets worked intermittently or were blocked. The US state depratment later said that it would only support the democratically elected regime. Senior Pentagon officials in Washington said they were still trying to determine what was occurring in Turkey. They said the United States had not adjusted its military posture in the region.

The Defense Department has roughly 2,200 uniformed military personnel and civilians in Turkey. About 1,500 of them are based at Incirlik, an air base in southern Turkey near Syria. The United States has used the base to launch airstrikes against the Islamic State. Since March, Incirlik has been on an “elevated force protection level” amid concerns that militants were targeting it. Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter in May ordered all family members of military personnel based at Incirlik to leave the country.
* * *
The events began unfolding around 10 p.m. Friday as the military moved to stop traffic over two of Istanbul’s bridges, which cross the Bosporus and connect the European and Asian sides of the city.
There were reports of gunfire in Istanbul’s central Taksim Square, where pro-Erdogan supporters had gathered, but there were no reports of injuries, and it appeared that security forces were acting with restraint. On the Bosporus Bridge, which was closed earlier in the evening by the military, there were reports of gunfire as protesters approached, and according to NTV, a television news channel, three people were injured.

What was surprising, is that some prominent military figures spoke out against a coup, including the commander of the First Army, Gen. Umit Guler, who issued a statement, carried by a pro-government news channel, saying, “ The armed forces do not support this movement comprised of a small group within our ranks .” One wonders then just how organized and orchestrated this "low level" coup.

Even leaders of opposition political parties, who have otherwise worked against Mr. Erdogan’s government, spoke out against a seizure of government by the military. “This country has suffered a lot from coups,” Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the main secular opposition party, the Republican People’s Party, known by its Turkish initials C.H.P., said in a written statement, according to Hurriyet Daily News. “It should be known that the C.H.P. fully depends on the free will of the people as indispensable of our parliamentary democracy.”

One thing is undisputed: the coup was poorly organized from the beginning: instead of arresting Erdogan on the spot and taking over all media, while unleashing infantry forces around key choke points, the army was on the defensive almost from the beginning, and was unable to open fire on its own people when the momentum started to slip away.

To be sure, some tried to spin the coup as well-organized. According to Reuters , early in the evening the coup appeared strong. A senior EU source monitoring the situation said: "It looks like a relatively well orchestrated coup by a significant body of the military, not just a few colonels. They've got control of the airports and are expecting control over the TV station imminently. They control several strategic points in Istanbul.

"Given the scale of the operation, it is difficult to imagine they will stop short of prevailing."
Only they did, and dramatically so, failing to show either substantial organization or resolve to push the coup to its end. As a result, as the night wore on, momentum turned against the coup plotters. Crowds defied orders to stay indoors, gathering at major squares in Istanbul and Ankara, waving flags and chanting. The army had lost control just a few hours after the attempted coup started late on Friday evening.

“Some people illegally undertook an illegal action outside of the chain of command,” Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said in comments broadcast on NTV, a private television channel. “The government elected by the people remains in charge. This government will only go when the people say so.”

Shortly after Yildirim spoke, factions of the Turkish military issued a statement, according to the news agency DHA, claiming it had taken control of the country.

Obasiki flags off campaign

Obaseki flags off campaign, promises 200, 000 jobs in 4 years

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has promised to create 200,000 jobs within the four years, if elected governor of the state.

He made the promise on Saturday at the official flag off of the party’s governorship election campaign held at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin, Edo State.

Addressing the crowd of party supporters, Obaseki disclosed that his administration will reposition agriculture and make Edo the hub of agriculture in the country, adding that 150,000 jobs would be created in that sector.

He also promised to make entrepreneurship a way of life in the state, just as he promised to encourage technical and vocational training, as well as focus on women empowerment and expand on infrastructure.

The APC candidate told party faithful that he had contributed to providing services to the people of the state as Chairman of the State Economic Team, especially in managing the finances of the state, which he said had ensured regular payment of salaries.

He therefore, pledged to work day and night with his running mate to realise the collective aspiration of Edo people, even as he asked for the peoples’ prayers to enable him succeed.

National chairman of the APC, Chief John Oyegun, while presenting the party’s flag to Mr. Obaseki, said the Edo people have a choice to vote for the APC and Obaseki to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy which the Adams Oshiomhole administration had provided in the last seven and half years or vote for PDP and return to the locusts years which the PDP 10 year-governance in the state represented.

He noted that out of the 36 states in the country, 27 were financially insolvent, but expressed joy that Edo was among the states that were doing well, and urged the people to vote for Mr. Godwin Obaseki so that he would build on the good foundation laid by Oshiomhole.

Earlier in his speech, Governor Adams Oshiomhole, described Mr. Obaseki as “the brain box” of his administration, adding that as the chairman of the state economic team, he did earn salaries for the seven and half years he worked.

Cataloging his achievements in all sectors in the life of his administration, Oshiomhole urged the people to for Mr. Obaseki to ensure continuity of development in the state.

He also called on Nigerians to repose confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari, who he said was trying to restore the country’s economy which was bastardized by the PDP in the last 15 years.

“Support the President, he is doing a fine job. For the first time, we have a president calling on Ministers and other high Government officials to give account” Oshiomhole said and reaffirmed the confidence of Edo people in President Buhari, just as he warned against any move to impeach him.

Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Owelle Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, led five other governors and seven deputy governors of the party to attend the flag off ceremony at which scores of PDP members led by Oredo local government Chairman of the party, Mr. Samson Esemuede, defected to the APC.

Meanwhile, the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Eheneden Erediauwa has wished Mr. Godwin Obaseki well to be the next governor of Edo State.

He said this on Saturday during the visit of APC governors to his palace.

The Edaiken who praised Governor Adams Oshiomhole said, “On behalf of the chiefs, the royal family and the Benin Kingdom, I want to specially welcome here the gubernatorial aspirant and his running mate, the one I call my son. He is always so shy. I don’t know how he is able to play politics. I want to welcome all of you for coming here today. I am very delighted and honoured to see the chieftains of the APC, and we are sure that the state is moving on strong with the APC. I have always said one thing, and I have repeated and reiterated it over and over again that in Benin, the Benin Monarch is not partisan. However, it is not always too easy to be in the opposition with the party at the centre in Abuja.

“So, when Adams Oshiomhole, the Comrade Governor took the reins of office here, and it was APC; the PDP was in charge in Abuja; we were all wondering: how is he going to do it? How is he going to get the attention of the federal government? How is he going to pool all the resources that he needs to work in the state? As you all know, he worked miracles. He did a lot of things which many people thought could not be done. Almost along the same line the Governor of Lagos State at the time also, Fashola. So, they were virtually like two brothers working together in the face of the opposition.

“So, we can only pray that may the Lord God almighty and our ancestors protect the gubernatorial candidates, give them the wisdom to put food on the table of the masses because for us, our first concern is the people, the masses, and of course, he will be a great respecter, like our comrade Governor, I said he should do better than him, to be a great respecter of the traditional institution.”

Among the Progressives governors that visited the Benin Crown Prince with Governor Oshiomhole were Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Simon Lalong of Plateau State, Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State, Abdulahi Ganduje of Kano State, Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State as well as deputy governors of Niger, Nasarawa, Jigawa, Borno, Kwara, Kogi and Oyo state

Encyclopeadia on Sani Abacha

Encyclopædia Britannica
Sani Abacha, (born September 20, 1943, Kano, Nigeria—died June 8, 1998, Abuja) Nigerian military leader, who served as head of state (1993–98).

Abacha received his formal military training at Nigerian and British military training colleges. He rose through the ranks in the Nigerian military and by 1983 had achieved the rank of brigadier when he assisted Ibrahim Babangida in overthrowing Shehu Shagari, who had been elected to his second presidential term in 1983. Muhammad Buhari became Nigeria’s leader, but just two years later Babangida overthrew Buhari and installed himself as leader with Abacha second in command. Elections were held in 1993 and were won by Moshood Abiola, a candidate supposedly supported by Babangida, who, however, annulled the elections and set up a civilian interim government, which Abacha quickly overthrew.

Although Abacha promised a return to democracy, his actions were anything but democratic. He banned political activity of any kind, fired a large portion of the military, controlled the press, and assembled a personal security force of some 3,000 men. While he supported the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and its military arm, ECOWAS Monitoring Group (ECOMOG), in sending troops to restore democracy in Liberia and Sierra Leone, he brutally suppressed dissent at home. Abiola and Olusegun Obasanjo, a former military leader of Nigeria (1976–79), were jailed for treason.

Wole Soyinka, Nigeria’s Nobel laureate, was also charged with treason, although he had voluntarily left the country. Perhaps Abacha’s most brutal act was the imprisonment, trial, and subsequent execution for treason of writer Ken Saro-Wiwa and other Ogoni activists who were concerned with the environmental exploitation of their region by multinational petroleum companies.

Abacha’s sudden death in June 1998 moved along the process of returning the country to civilian rule. His military successor, Abdusalam Abubakar, oversaw the return to an elected civilian government in 1999. After Abacha’s death, it was rumoured that he and his family had enriched themselves by some $3 billion, most of it held in European banks. In 2002 a settlement, which returned most of the money to the government in exchange for dropping criminal prosecution, was reached between the Obasanjo government and the Abacha family.

APC governorship's candidate visits the the crown prince of Benin Kingdom

I wish you well, Crown Prince tells Obaseki

The Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness (Amb) Eheneden Erediauwa has wished the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr. Godwin Obaseki well to be the next governor of Edo State.

During the visit of APC governors to the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom in Benin City, Saturday, the Edaiken said it is not good to be in the opposition. However, it is not always too easy to be in the opposition with the party at the centre in Abuja.”

He continued, “So, when Adams Oshiomhole, the Comrade Governor took the reins of office here, and it was APC; the PDP was in charge in Abuja; we were all wondering: how is he going to do it? How is he going to get the attention of the federal government? How is he going to pool all the resources that he needs to work in the state? As you all know, he worked miracles. He did a lot of things which many people thought could not be done. Almost along the same line the Governor of Lagos State at the time also, Fashola. So, they were virtually like two brothers working together in the face of the opposition.”

He said, “So, we can only pray that may the Lord God almighty and our ancestors protect the gubernatorial candidates, give them the wisdom to put food on the table of the masses because for us, our first concern is the people, the masses, and of course, he will be a great respecter, like our comrade Governor, I said he should do better than him, to be a great respecter of the traditional institution.”

The Crown Prince added, “So, I want to thank you all very much and wish that the gubernatorial aspirant will do their best to improve on the Comrade Governor’s work in the State. It is going to be a lot of work to beat. He has set standards that other governors, they have to beat. I want to thank you very much, because I know the time is far spent and you are starting the campaign now. On behalf of our family, the chiefs, I want to wish you well.”

Speaking on behalf of the APC governors, the Chairman of Progressives Governors and Governor of Imo State, Mr. Rochas Okorocha said, “We are happy to be here because for every journey that has a beginning, it will have an end. And we have seen in sight an end to one journey, and hence we are rushing fast to introduce the remaining one.
Adams Oshiomhole is one man in this country that you cannot afford not to count when you are counting the northerners. He has passion for Edo State.

He has made his mark, but if after all these good jobs, there should be a continuation, so that we, as my brother rightly put it yesterday, that we will not go back to Egypt. Governance is the one that relates with the people. And for the whole party to have looked at all the candidates, not because he is the finest, not because he is the tallest, and have chosen him means that certain qualities of Adamism are in him. They started right and they said we should accompany him here. And the first to visit the stream takes the cleanest of the water.”

He said, “The manner in which he has kept this palace and dignified it, we are requesting that he will even do better. He will do same, and even do better, because in our party APC led by President Buhari, it is not a government of deceit. It is a government of reality. So, we pray that Edo people will give him support and we shall come here in November to say certain words to you.”

Earlier, Governor Adams Oshiomhole said, “We are here, your royal highness, to present to your highness, and we feel very privileged to be the first to present the very senior applicant to your highness. And we believe with your blessings and prayers, and knowing your commitment, the peace, security, development and continuous growth and development of this great kingdom, and indeed of the entire Edo State, and of which you know, your highness, we are unanimous. There is only one paramount traditional ruler in this great state.”

Oshiomhole said, “For me, therefore, it is a rare privilege that you granted us the honour and opportunity to present the person who is applying for my job. So, we are privileged to present to you Godwin Obaseki as our gubernatorial candidate for the September 10 election. We ask for your prayers, your blessings and all that you have done for me before, which I pray should be extended to him, because he himself must do much better than I was able to do.”

Among the Progressives governors that visited the Benin Crown Prince with Governor Oshiomhole were Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Simon Lalong of Plateau State, Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State, Abdulahi Ganduje of Kano State, Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State as well as deputy governors of Niger, Nasarawa, Jigawa, Borno, Kwara, Kogi and Oyo states.

Mother And Daughter Fight Over Lover In Abuja

According to a reliable source ,who witnessed the incident which happened in Nyanya area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, the woman who is a single parent of four, hails from the eastern part of the country and runs a beer palour in the area while her daughter is said to be a student in a university in Nasarawa State, though no one is sure if she is truly a registered student with any institution.

Mother And Daughter Fight Over Lover In Abuja
“It was a sight to behold as the woman who is probably in her 40s, engaged her daughter who cannot be more than 22, in a serious fight in her beer parlour. They fought so bitterly that the fight spilled outside, drawing a large crowd of onlookers.

They tore their clothes and were only left with only their underwear. We later gathered that they were fighting over a man who has been secretly dating the two of them; imagine sleeping with both mother and daughter.

When we were able to calm them down, we asked what led to the fight but the mother was silent initially until the daughter opened up that her mother snatched her man friend who has been sponsoring her in school.”

“At that point, the mother also opened up, saying it was actually the daughter that snatched the man from her, saying she had been dating him for over five years and the man only started sleeping with the daughter last year.

It was really a shameful thing to behold. Whatever happens to morals?”
That is the question to ask: what happened to morals in our society?

Militancy: "How many people will you fight?" Gani Adams asks Buhari

Gani Adams, leader of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), says the use of force in the Niger Delta region can not stop attacks on oil assets.

In an interview with newsmen, Adams advised the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to negotiate with militants based on restructuring.
He said but for the fact that the Niger Delta is endowed with oil, Buhari would not have cared about the activities of the militants.

“The government should negotiate with them on the basis of restructuring. You cannot use force to solve the problem,” he said.

“Assuming the Niger Delta Avengers were not from the area that controls the main source of our income, the president would not have cared. I’m very sure of that. In as much as he can pay salaries, he will not care about what is happening in that region.
“How many people will President Muhammadu Buhari fight? There are a lot of groups agitating in the Niger Delta and in the north-east, and Boko Haram is still there.”

According to him, to reduce agitation for secession, the president should abide by the rule of law
Speaking on the recent militant attacks in Lagos and Ogun states, Adams said the OPC held a meeting with the Ijaws who denied any involvement in the attacks.
“I was not in the country but our publicity secretary was there and the feedback we got is that a communiqué was issued to condemn the attacks, “he added.

“I heard that the Ijaw leaders at the meeting denied that the assailants were of Ijaw descent.”

Dino Melaye To Be Suspended From National Assembly...See Details

Second Republic Senator, Ayo Fasanmi, has called for the suspension of senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye from the upper legislative chambers over his outburst against his colleague and wife of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Recall that Melaye had on Tuesday threatened to assault Mrs Tinubu, a Senator representing Lagos Central in the senate during a closed door session.
Melaye, however, claimed he was only responding to an insult from Mrs. Tinubu who called him a dog and a thug when the impeachment move against President Muhammadu Buhari was been considered.
However, the elder statesman while condemning Melaye’s action said the lawmaker has dented the image of the hallowed chambers.

Fasanmi in a solidarity message during an emergency meeting of Lagos Central District leaders and stakeholders held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos Mainland, urged Nigerians to examine the quality of lawmakers they select to represent them at the National Assembly.
At the meeting which was held with the aim of reaffirming their loyalty and support for Senator Tinubu, Fasanmi called on the National leadership of the APC to sanction Melay.

“I am very sad about what is going on in the Senate. All former senators and members of the House of Representatives should be sad. Senator Dino Melaye is rude to a woman of substance and a diligent senator who has brought pride to the party, her constituency and the womenfolk. He should be suspended from the Senate with immediate effect,” Fasanmi said.

Kill all foreign ambassadors of countries supporting Nigeria government. Doing this will shock corrupt colonial nations that stays as parasite.immediately Nigeria government will loose strength and call for referendum to avoid big invasion of northern Nigeria with advance weapons because NDA and BIAFRANS will gain new supports from somany countries .
NDA and BIAFRANS should learn to be successful.
